Misandry lacks class consciousness. Mindfulness meditations were supposed to provide class consciousness until western culture and pop psychology made it some sort of libertarian practice from pseudo psychology and capitalism as wellness.

Real growth doesn't happen in my head. It comes from building new bridges and keeping walls onto the toxic ones that I keep letting back into my life. Making amends with a narcissistic parent this year led me to relapse. I don't feel safe being vulnerable because vulnerability leads to abandonment.

My hot take is that in most case marriage ruins other relationships. You see it in Mormonism all the time. Normalizing platonic relationships has saved my life and I am trying to find men I actually like to add to my small circle of friends. We value family too much over community.

I'm grateful that my friend has allowed me to love her platonically. I don't know how I am so loved or what I did to have someone love the vulnerable parts of me but it is helping me ask myself for patience and to be kinder to others.
