Today, on a video court appearance, one of the lawyers asked to move the next hearing date because he would be at ComicCon on the proposed date, and the judge all all the lawyers were unanimous that it sounded like a much better thing to be doing. Maybe he’ll invite us all.

"Boycotting" an election doesn't send the message that you're unhappy, because it doesn't lose them money like it would for a business. You're not the nation's customer.

Refusing to vote sends the message that you're fine with whatever result you get, that other people can decide for you.
And unfortunately some well-meaning people fall for it, thinking not voting would work the same way as boycotting a business.

Looking through the auction listings for my nieces bougie school is a trip compared to my elementary school days. We had baskets of snacks curated by the principal and a 2 night stay at a mid level hotel, not guitars signed by Pearl Jam or or a week in a 7 bedroom home at a Hawaiian resort.
