So my dad sold his farm and closes on it tomorrow. Told everyone they would have 30 days after to move all their stuff, and my mom lives in an apt there. New owner tells her today she has to have everything out by 4pm tomorrow. I don’t know if that’s legal or allowed but couldn’t risk it.

Last day in Scotland. Made it to the full cast Wynonna Earp panel at EarpFest and really hoping there’s another Earp con announced in the near future. There’s nothing better than hanging out with Earpers and hearing from the cast.

I really wish we had more time in Scotland so I could spend some time looking at records and looking for graves for our Scottish ancestors. We made a stop in Dundee where some of our Stark and Rattray ancestors are from and were involved in ship building and related industries.

Next weekend I had planned to be in the UP, hiking three days on the North. Country Trail and covering my first 35-50 miles in my effort to get 300 miles in the UP this year. The weather has super derailed these plans. Picture from my hike at a MI state park today, definitely didn’t stop at the sign

My toddlers favorite toy is a small plush unicorn she calls baby unicorn and it’s been missing for days. I’ve searched everywhere and have no idea, and of course it seemed like something someone gave us so I have no idea where it came from or if it was even made in the last ten years.

The only time I ever get to sleep through the night is if I’m away from home. It’s after 1:30am and two toddlers are still up, Lily is sitting on the bed with a handful of Bluey characters and Evelyn is attempting a headstand

I’m wondering if there is any story line that Doctor Odyssey considers too far fetched? Don’t get me wrong I enjoy this show but amputating limbs on a cruise ship? Medical staff having a threesome and one getting pregnant? This season is nuts and I’m only on episode 9.

So frickin excited to see that an extended family member who has been a huge supporter of that dipshit in office for a long time is publicly denouncing his actions.

We had a nasty storm come through Sunday and had to shelter in the basement with the kids. With it just being the beginning of storm season I need to put together a box of stuff for the girls to keep down there. I always have survival supplies and food/water but toddlers have their own needs.

Have had a couple of really rough nights with our autistic toddler. She’s been up really late and wakes up early very upset. It sucks that she can’t communicate what she needs or wants a lot of the time so I try several things until she’s regulated or happy or goes back to sleep. #autism

You know how when things are going really good something bad is bound to happen? Well today I found out that my tuition assistance is not going to cover my classes this semester so I have to pay $3200 out of pocket for two classes, one of which I despise.

So much of my free time is spent planning for our trip to Scotland for EarpFest, after really enjoying some of his videos I just got Graeme Johncock’s book and its lovely of course. I am working on an itinerary to see as much in a week as possible. #EarpFest

Do I know any social workers, someone with a BSW or MSW? I’m supposed to interview someone for the intro to social work class I’m taking at University of Michigan Flint and the person I had planned who had told me they went to school for social work did not in fact do so, so now I’m scrambling
