I think my books will be a duology as opposed to a trilogy like originally thought, which means I will need to start a different book sooner then expected. Still not for years but that means I need to start being insane about a new idea now

James, Joseph, Arlo were chosen to fit the characters possible backgrounds without pinning it down too specifically.
Hayden just sounded like a Y̶o̶u̶T̶u̶b̶e̶r̶ name to me.
Kallan and Kirk were because I'd given too many characters A names so I switched to K.

My main characters are Odylline and Elisabeta, Ode and Elli for short. Elisabeta seemed to me a quintessential vampire name. Odylline is based off a random bridal studio name that I loved the sound of; in universe, it means "Ode to life"

- Very affectionate but only when he wants it, and is very particular about how people touch him

I love writing characters who are freaks. All of the other humans in my book are in a horror movie, while my FMC is in that scene from Marie Antoinette where they're trying on clothes and eating pastries. EXACT same circumstances, she's just chilling
