I told her the line in our operating system was tied into the credit card processing system. That if I reversed the line it would refund the card. To ask our guy before we tried deleting it.

How did I get put in the middle of a brewing beef between the co-credit manager and the accounting manager??
All I know is, it is way too early to be raising my blood pressure and kicking up my anxiety.
(And credit has my loyalty. She knows what’s up. New manager does not...)

You can’t tell one person one thing, then come and tell me something else, and then when I ask you if you conveyed what you told me to the other person you say you did (when you actually didn’t) and then you don’t send an email reiterating what you want done to everyone when you said you would! 😑

I’ve been doing this job for 10 years now. I may not be educated in the whys, but I do know each payment we receive needs to be accounted for, even if it’s a replacement for one that bounced.
