I think posting here is quite therapeutic while in the midst of building first my SaaS product.

I'm currently building a AI image generator which allows people to upload their photos and it transforms their photos into a unique art styles which they can share easily.

It's getting easier to someone to build an application, but the fundamentals don't change -> Learning how to architect the application correctly, database fundamentals, user requirements gathering. I see AI as an amplifier and enabler for your thoughts. #coding

I think what we sometimes need is more clarity in where we want to go. Yes, everyone is just figuring out and making things up as we go along, but without a destination to go to, we might be just walking in circles.

Taking this advice to heart, today is Sunday and it's planning day.

What is MVP? Something that delivers a complete, minimal experience for users?

With this competitive market, is it still possible to find niches that resonate with certain groups of users?

The age old advice still applies, build it and distribute it and the market will let you know #buildinpublic

For me the best part of creating a new app is the database design. I like designing database schema and I can imagine what I want from the system and the setting up of the database schema makes me feel like it has already a good foundation to build on. #buildinpublic #programming

Had a eureka moment yesterday. I had a site which the requirements needed to have multi language support and I'm just toying with the idea of my template builder.

And I guess this is what people call a validated problem.

So I guess it's time to work on the product. #buildinpublic

Was just wondering if I were to start a learning resource for beginners in using AI for their work, will there be any interest from the crowd here?

Saw an inspiring message today while scrolling - "You are enough". Thought it is a simple but yet powerful message, hence would like to share this with you guys and also a reminder to myself.

With the world in such chaotic times, I know there are many people who are struggling currently. Wanted to send my heart out to you "Even amidst the fiercest storms, remember that every raindrop dances on its own journey".
It is more important then ever, to slow down and embrace the small joys.

Those who have lived through the days of COBOL will probably experience carpal tunnel syndrome from constantly hitting at the spacebar. I loved it !

Enjoyed C too.

One regret I had was not picking up Pascal.

What things would you guys have wanted to pick up if you had a chance again?

For all your #coders, and #builders and the #buildinpublic crowd, what are you guys doing to maintain your mental health? Do you work on your hobbies? Or meet up with friends? Or mediate quietly?

We lead such stressful lives in such stressful times it just feels like quite stifling at times.

Yes, I am late to the party. I am learning #tailwindcss now. The experience is pretty good actually and the syntax is actually quite similar to #bootstrap, perhaps the former is more lower level. Next step would be #shadcn

Is it me or are tech people have random reading urges all of a sudden? I was sitting in front of the tv last evening and suddenly had an urge to start reading COBOL and Perl. It's like a good bedtime story. #retro #programming #coding

Sometimes ideas pull in so many directions that you tend to lose sight of where you want to go. I guess the best way to go back to the starting point - trying to help just one person with your idea.

If managed properly, I think it will be a thriving ecosystem of useful tools, great content and engaging conversations to have.

#mentalhealth note today: It is not possible to move forward if you keep re-reading the last chapter. Read it, reflect on it, close the chapter and move on.

Positive mental health is irreplaceable. You might think that there is a better job although you are much appreciated in your current one, or a better relationship although you are happily in one. The reason why the grass looks greener, because it is usually full of bull. Being grateful is the key.
