Where do Latinxs stand on racial injustice and do they acknowledge shared oppression? This work underscores both the challenges and opportunities of a Latinx-Black political coalition.

Thank you to the brave souls (average citizens) who continue to peacefully document everything to hold a rogue agency accountable in Minneapolis. They’re literally risking their lives to ensure basic transparency of our government.
Minneapolis residents are risking their lives so that the world can see what is actually happening to their city, Charlie Warzel reports.

Scary prospect…
The Trump administration says it has signed up 12,000 new ICE officers, agents, and legal staff—but many of them may not be deployed for months, @nickmiroff.bsky.social reports.
Most ICE Recruits Haven’t Deployed Yet
Trump officials are touting 12,000 new hires in four months. Getting them onto U.S. streets may take longer.

Immigration scholars have long been warning about the dangers of ICE and CBP’s lethal use of force against immigrants. Escalations are now affecting U.S. citizens. Renee Nicole Good’s death is an awful tragedy that was obviously unnecessary. I hope for us all that her family finds justice.

My volunteering as a Child Advocate means that I meet with children in immigrant detention and this reporting mirrors what I’m seeing on the ground.
The Trump administration has virtually stopped releasing undocumented children in federal custody to their parents and relatives. That's according to data obtained by The Texas Newsroom, The California Newsroom, immigration attorneys and officials inside the ORR.

Spoke to Axios about the current state of Texas Latino voters going into a midterm election year.
Takeaway: Economy is not what Latino voters were expecting and Texas Democrats locally and statewide feel like they have a shot next year.

Earlier this year, we documented nearly 50 incidents of immigration officers shattering car windows to make arrests — a tactic experts say was rarely used before Trump took office.

ICE claims its officers use a “minimum amount of force.”

You can judge for yourself.

Here’s what happened when the federal government ripped a 12-year old girl from her only living parent. An important story from @angieleventis.bsky.social and Laura Turbay @chicagotribune.com www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/22/c...
Her dad was taken by immigration agents. Now a 12-year-old girl fears she’s lost her only living parent.
The separation illustrates a tragic consequence of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown: children left behind after a parent is detained or deported.
