I’m also anonymous. I don’t read Trump’s reposted bs. I encourage you to quit helping him spread it.

I believe it’s time to draft a Constitution suitable to the 21st century. What would you change and why? If you’d change nothing, why? As a member of We The People, I’m prepared to respectfully listen, discuss, and debate. Take the floor.

Betty Reid Soskin was a defining presence in our district, and a force for truth, memory, and equity. At the Rosie the Riveter site in Richmond, she helped ensure our history was told fully and honestly. That work, and her legacy, will endure.
Betty Reid Soskin, who served as the nation’s oldest park ranger and related firsthand accounts of segregation as a Black woman on the World War II home front, has died. She was 104.

Ms. Soskin worked as a file clerk in a segregated union during World War II. Decades later, she shared that story as the oldest park ranger.

Trump can be the rock-bottom of our vicious decline, but only if we start focusing on what we want the future to look like rather than what it is that we don’t want.

We deserve better than this, but we have to decide what better is and fight for it.

Hollywood loves our trauma. Black actors are more likely to win awards when playing roles tied to slavery, servitude, or trauma.

Lupita Nyong’o opens up about what happened after her Oscar win. Hollywood kept offering her more parts as an enslaved woman, pushing the same stereotype again and again.

The first time terrorists used planes to attack Americans wasn’t on 9/11 or at Pearl Harbor. It was the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 when white supremacists flew a dozen planes to drop turpentine or nitroglycerin bombs on Black Americans.

Viola Fletcher was there.
