Introducing another one of my PMD Fanfic OC, Ron the Espurr!
I posted his pic before, but it's the first time I wrote a short story about him. Pic by @mourreon.pmd.social!
A PMD Fanfic OC. Ron the Male Espurr is trying to prepare himself to attack. Ron’s entire body is shaking. The team encountered a wild Espeon in the middle of the dungeon. An intimidating and scary one for him. The Espeon is currently eyeing Daniel, the Dewott. He himself is preparing a battle stance, with Tricia, the Zoroark, hiding just behind him. I-it’s fine, Ron thought, trying to hold his fears. They haven’t noticed me now… I can do this… I can do this! He raises his right arm carefully, pointing his paw towards the Espeon. He then put his left paw on top of the raised arm. Trying to keep both arms as steady as possible, he begins focusing. Little blue sparks begin appearing near his right paw. He keeps a steady breathing pattern. I can do this… I can do this… I-! Suddenly, the Espeon turns their head towards Ron. “W-Wha!” They begin glaring at the Espurr. Deeply. With intent. Ron couldn’t help but notice their terrifying, intimidating expression. His arm starts to shake, more and more, with each passing second. Then his body starts to tremble. And then…. I… can’t do it. Ron turns to the back, and immediately runs away. “What? Ron! Where are you-” Ron heard Daniel calling out to him, immediately followed by the sound of a blast. They already started fighting. But Ron… he couldn’t do anything about it. I’m sorry… I’m sorry… His legs keep moving him further from his team, as the guilt and shame begin enveloping him. Daniel is experienced in battles. He is able to keep the situation under control, for sure. Tricia has those large, red claws to protect herself. And she is a dark type, advantageous against Psychic types. But him? He’s just a rookie. A lone, weak rookie that cannot stand up against anyone. And thus, it is easier for him to just run away from anything. I know it’s not right. I know it’s cowardly. But… this is just who I am.

Uda's an old, seasoned explorer. She seems to know more than she lets on about the surge in size cases.

All the art here's from past compilations. Only the filled-out Job template is new.

(named after Yagi-Uda antennas) She's weathered but very very experienced in gathering rare items from Mystery Dungeons. A PMD Explorers template, filled in-character as Uda. -- Job Summary | I noticed your Guild's investigating the many size-change cases popping up all around the continent. Send a team to meet me. I can help. | Client: a poential benefactor | Objective: That human-turned-Pokémon. Bring her to me. | Place: Silicate Cache, 6F | Restrictions: That Pokémon, in your party. | Difficulty: idfk... B, I guess? (30 points) | Reward: Regular deliveries of Rare size-change items, to even the odds in your endeavors. Uda holding the satchel of Rare Items, helpfully labeled "RARE ITEMS", lol. She says to an offscreen Guild member, "This satchel contains rare and powerful items. May your Guild use them wisely." Jun the Zorua (who's tasked with managing Items for the Guild) meets with Uda for one of her deliveries. Jun: "Oooh, what's the goods this time?" Uda: "Got a rare headband that gives a major power boost to one attack, but at the cost of shrinking you to a speck... Otherwise just the usual wands & seeds, I'm afraid."
