Pepper & Franklin in some cool season grasses 💚 After lots of work this fall taking down ash trees & clearing brush, we’re expanding our sheep pasture down near our road where we’re planning a little paw paw, mulberry & asian pear orchard. Sheep are getting their first taste of it today #sheep #farm

We’ve seen a coyote on the trail cam sniffing around our fenceline for the past week, so the lil sheep are sleeping in the barn at night rather than out in the field for the 1st time in their lives. Getting used to the routine. Baited electric fence with peanut butter, hopefully that moves it along

Time to collect bottlebrush buckeye seed 🌳🤓 Like paw paw, bottlebrush seeds are recalcitrant, so if they dry out they are a no go. Need to collect promptly and keep moist until planting. We have a lot of plants so it’ll be fun to grow out some to share! #nativeplants #flowers #seedsaving
