I spent the afternoon and night with my lovely, mature niece and her dude guy yesterday. I'm so happy she's a well-adjusted young woman after all the tragedy surrounding her mom, my sister's, passing.

I went to bed Saturday and cuddled sweetly with my Hanky, almost sweeter than normal. I was rubbing his little chest and he was purring and super duper happy and comfortable. And I felt this intense energy between him and I, just so soothing from him, it went all the way into my heart.
