Ruairi, if you had any real decency in you, when you came back into the room, it would have been to say that you'd phoned the police to confess, and that they were on their way. Not whinging some more about how sorry you are and hoping it would all just go away and be forgotten.

I wonder if it's going to occur to either George or Brian that the police will have Brian's dulcet tones recorded on the 911 call he made. He has a pretty distinctive voice.

Surely Glebe Cottage belongs to Jill, not the farm, and she's promised to leave it to Shula and Elizabeth. I also wonder whether Shula and Elizabeth agree that their shares don't need to be taken into consideration but that it can all be left to Pip.

If an ambulance call handler got a call for a body found in some woodland, would they take it for granted that this was the same body they'd had a call about, ten minutes or so earlier? Surely they'd have to at least allow for the possibility that there were two bodies in the same area?

I think we need to add Harrison to the list of candidates for the ICU bed next week. Alternatively, he could be the one who puts George in it. He won't be happy, if he comes home to find Fallon in pieces over what George said to her.

Am I alone in expecting Leonard and/or Joy will find that no good deed goes unpunished, and that they've caught norovirus off Paul's stuff. Lily and Josh had probably been clear for long enough to be clear but it sounded as if Paul was only just surfacing from it.

I suspect that Amber wanting her parents at her wedding is part of reality dawning. She isn't really the glamorous rebel, who runs off to marry her bad-boy without a backward glance. She's a nice girl, who's trying to work out how to construct a silk purse from her sow's ear.
