2024 was SO CLOSE to being the year I hit 100 fics on ao3. Here are this year’s WIPs and fully posted fics! 🥂✨
Mostly, teaching seniors is great. They get their work done, don’t cause problems in the room, and care about their learning. Unfortunately, they also (often, not always) tend to be incredibly entitled, believing that “meeting expectations” translates into high 80s or 90s. Sorry buddy, that’s a 75.

You know, I don’t blame my mom for not catching on to the fact that I have ADHD, but we were talking about it not that long ago and she was like “you always got your school work done on time and did well though” and like. Ma’am, no I did NOT. (I did do well, but it was NEVER on time)

I’m getting so frustrated with administration at my school consistently lowering the expectations for students, giving a thousand chances, and not following through on consequences. Student that are failing should NOT be allowed to join extracurriculars that take them out of class even more.

I’ve come to the conclusion that making time for fic writing at night is absolutely essential for maintaining my mental health and, as such, “sympathy for the devil” pt 2 now has a completed outline with 21 chapters PLUS and epilogue!!

I was able to focus on fic for the first time in forever tonight and while there was no actual WRITING being done, a lot of outlining was completed for “sympathy for the devil” pt. 2!
