Paperback books are like velveteen rabbits — there to be loved and squeezed and read and stuffed into shoulder bags and left in the sun and read again until there's nothing left but the best kind of memories

Two of my favorite all time tv characters of 2000’s era television are
- Christina Yang (Grey’s Anatomy)
and
-Blanca (Pose)

I love Christina’s tough heart and fierce loyalty.
And I think Blanca is one of the kindest, strongest characters to ever exist.

If your child likes something, and you don’t understand it, why does said interest HAVE to be wielded by the devil??? You don’t “get” your kid, and there’s no possible reason for that other than the influence of The Dark Prince??????

I’d teach one graduate course and one undergraduate course something related to class and popular culture/literature. Right now I’m teaching 5 composition courses. Last class I taught in person was a childrens lit course that looked at school stories from the 1960s to today. Really enjoyed it!
Congratulations! You’ve just won the lottery and will never have to worry about money again, but plot twist, you still have to work. Part time if you want but still gotta work. What’re you doing? What would be your money no issue ideal job/business to work for your own enjoyment?
