If you were born on third base but think you hit a triple, you may lack self-awareness, empathy, or humility — probably all three.
This man has all of them. In abundance.
Some personal thoughts on the meaning of Trump’s depraved bill. @karaswisher.bsky.social @pivotpod.bsky.social

Truly a man of the people
the cabinet meeting is now off the rails: "The only question is will I gold leaf the corners? My cabinet could take a vote. You see the top line mouldings."

she cried
Moore, More, Moore

With a rebel yell
she cried

Long may this complete lack of self awareness continue.

A hopeful start to the week
Just a few days ago I was confidently - and entirely wrongly - predicting that Simion would win. He got his fascist arse handed to him, the ugly fucking cunt. What a night.

“This is so that people making over $1 million… can get a $90,000 average tax cut.” — @jonfavs.bsky.social

Republicans in Congress want to cut Medicaid, raise health costs, and take food from kids—all to give millionaires and billionaires a tax break.

We won't let them. #ProtectMedicaid

Stronger party negotiating with unshakable unity get best best terms in trade deal

How does the EU do it?
🚨🚨This is an interesting thread by Niall responding to @davidheniguk.bsky.social initial take on the negotiations between the EU and the UK before the summit putting on to stark relief some of the key divisions between the parties in finding a decent path for post-brexit EU-UK relationship. 🧵
Have to say, this is a poor take from @davidheniguk.bsky.social.

Frankly, if you're bleating about unfairness of a deal that you've asked for and voluntarily entered into, then you need to accept it's down to your own side's negotiators

Firstly, officials are duty bound to get the best deal

Far from it
