It is OK for business people to go into politics, but they should leave their business interests behind at that point. Lobbying should also be outlawed. Trump is a prime example of the chaos caused by putting business before country, and Farage would do the same to the UK.

I’m not a huge fan of Piers Morgan but on BBC Newsnight last night he called for a second referendum to rejoin the EU and suggested the country would vote overwhelmingly to rejoin. Well said Piers. I’m warming to you.

Incompetence, greed, corruption, selfishness and stupidity are hardly strangers to the Tories, but Johnson is probably unique in sacrificing the lives of ~150,000 in the UK who suffered avoidable deaths by turning the pandemic into a vehicle for the enrichment of himself and his friends.
