Catching up on #newsnight - such a shame that Dia Chakravarty has chosen to take a job at the Daily Telegraph. I so miss the days when she was fighting tirelessly for my interests as an ordinary taxpayer.

Genuinely quite impressed that one of the world's most reviled sports organisations has somehow found a way to make itself even more contemptible.

Slightly surprised to find myself agreeing with Gove on one point this morning #r4today BBC’s abandonment of high culture, on television at least, is utterly tragic and in no way helps it to build the case for its future
