What the actual fuck?! America, it’s time to rise. When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty!

We have been careful to avoid using the word coup, but it’s time to call it what it is—this is a coup. Trump signed an executive order granting only the attorney general or the president the authority to interpret laws executed by the executive branch.

Just learned from NPR that the federal government is the largest employer in the great Kansas City area, for example. I found it helpful to be reminded that, of course, this isn’t just about people who work and live in DC. Federal employees are in all of our communities.

Absolutely unbelievable. Just imagine if this had happened on Biden’s watch. The Republicans and the media would be in an uproar — and rightfully so.

I'm generally a fan, @ossoff.bsky.social, but maybe lay off the fundraising emails right now because I'm worried about WAY BIGGER SHORT TERM problems than MTG running against you. It feels a bit too tone-deaf and "politics-as-usual" for the dumpster fire happening in our country this week.

I'm super allergic to cats, so I'm a dog person IRL. But in these times, the algorithm seems to be figuring out that I'm 100% here for everyone's cute cat pics. 🤷‍♀️

Approximately 20 members of Elon Musk’s staff have begun working within the Education Department. They have gained access to multiple sensitive internal systems, including a financial aid dataset containing the personal information of millions of students enrolled in the federal student aid program.

I'm not saying there's a causal relationship between this kind of idiotic thinking and the hellscape we currently find ourselves in, but maybe cruelty toward others should be removed from the playbook. 🤷‍♀️ Know better, do better.
Senator Tommy Tuberville: We have an attention deficit problem in this country. Attention deficit — when you or I were growing up — our parents didn’t use a drug they used a belt.
