Sometimes I wish I had my kid when I was younger, but then he melts down because I peeled a banana wrong and I find myself wanting to laugh more than scream. Better emotional regulation is worth the occasionally creaky knees.

I didn't change my last name when I got married, totally out of laziness, and now after a couple years I just don't see any reason to changing it? Like, I can socially go by my married name, I don't care if anyone calls me Mrs., but all my documents stay uniform.
