If you aren’t making yourself a slutty little snack plate for dinner like once a week after the kids go to bed, why not? Cut the skin off your own apples, you deserve it.

Ignore the mess, it’s all still a work in progress. BUT after 2 months we finally got our washer/dryer to the new house!!! No more trips to the lavandería🙌🏼

When going on a trip, do you pack in advance (like a normal person); or do you wait until 24 hrs before you have to leave, make 2 loaves of sourdough, hang curtains, give your dogs a bath, bleach your roots, and then pack (like me)

Putting the children to bed with stories of ancient places called “Roller Rinks”. Where parents would drop off their children for hours and sometimes you could get money for a pizza. And if you were lucky enough, they *might* even bring out the disco ball during group skate.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

My whole life I thought I didn’t like croissants. They’re too flaky and messy and not even that good with all the layers and pockets of air. Today though, I had a croissant, baked by a woman living in Mexico, who studied patisserie in France. I may have cried. My life is changed. I love croissants.
