Sackman really championing the principle innocent until proven guilty when telling the Guardian defendants were “laughing in the dock” knowing cases can take years to come to trial. This this is our justice system people. Absolute shameful disgrace.

Kent Police seem to be completely out of control here. These two officers are talking legal rubbish.

Absolutely chilling.
Police in Canterbury today informed a protestor that the phrase "Israel is committing genocide in Gaza" could be considered a declaration of support for Palestine Action and therefore a terrorism offence.

We are appalled by the report on @channel4news.bsky.social tonight of a woman being restrained during labour while held in prison custody.

Prison will never be a safe or appropriate place for pregnant women and mothers of babies.
