As the grandson of Anthony Mazzalin, a Croatian immigrant who arrived in 1902 hoping to follow in his countryman Nikola Tesla’s footsteps, I read this article with a heavy heart.
I'm glad to see David Brooks good and pissed off about Trumpism. Lord knows, he's had that effect on me often enough.
Kathy and I are both children of WW II vets, and, yeah, we know damn well that our dads were in the Pacific out of love for their country. Damn straight.
