I swear, I plot for my books best when I do it with pen and paper. It feels just like when I was 14-15 years old and I didn't have a phone or laptop so my only choice to write was a pen and paper

Just a tad bit of banter, but what kind of romance would it be without it?

i hate the myth of infinite growth. have you never felt the joy of a spring after a long winter? hibernating for a while and feeling the relief of the sun shining on your face once again? THE PURE HAPPINESS OF “WE’RE SO FUCKING BACK”?????

During the summer solstice, the veil between our world and the fairy world thins, bringing much magic and mayhem.

On Midsummer’s Eve, leave a sparkly offering for the fairy folk, and stir your jam with a hazel twig to stop those tricksy fae from stealing it!

Been meaning to continue writing this sequel novella for about a month now, and now that I have time and motivation, it's refusing to go anywhere. Cool. Great. This book *will not* die with me

When I can't sleep it always becomes so obvious to me just how often I think about writing.
I mean, I'll spend months, years even working on a project to make it perfect enough for me, and when I go to bed, no matter what I've worked on, I can't help but think about my characters and what they'd do.

One thing I wish people understood better is that there's a difference between "the story was predictable" and "the story followed a logical sequence of events based on the characters and situations that were set up previously in the story."
