I waited in line and shared a table/Apple employee with a guy who was just genuinely excited about getting a new phone, seemingly out of the cynical sphere of devs and Apple people (me very much included), and it was really refreshing and nice. I wanna be more like that guy.

My roommate saw me put more cheese onto a frozen pizza & it was like I unlocked something in him. I saw the wheels turning as he realized we don't have to settle for the default amount of cheese the pizza overlords offer us. What goes onto the frozen pizza is in our control. We have the power.

My desk has weird ergonomics and I don't know why. I have my monitor on an arm, an adjustable height desk, and an aeron chair but somehow still feel like I get into uncomfortable positions. It's probably my complete lack of posture

One time in college I wasn't sure what to order so I pointed at a plate someone was picking up from a counter at a local Chinese place. Owner said what it was, couldn't hear, go w/ the flow. Spiciest and most delicious noodle dish I ever had. Tried a lot over 4 years, never found it on the menu.
