Today I was told to censor some text about my research because the department is appealing a funding cut and didn't want evidence of anti-trump activity on anything public facing... We're cooked and we're surrounded by cowards.

Didn't know this was a thing, but as a very human writer that over uses em dashes, I'm glad my first book came out pre-chatgpt so my humanity can't be in question... Unless that makes me more suspect, because there's more text to train a replicant on... 😭

We've now knocked 430,000+ doors at 1,006 different neighborhood canvasses since we launched our field program in January.
