Short notice, but just to say I’ll be reading at the Towner Gallery Eastbourne tomorrow, 4th July, 6.30 -8pm, alongside 5 other local poets. Poems in response to the Sussex Modernists show currently on there.

Poetry pamphlets are great!
Clare Best’s ‘End of Season’ (Frogmore Press), dual language English and Italian, also a song cycle, is a current favourite. Delicately detailed landscapes and vignettes carry a moving emotional arc. And Maria Isakova-Bennett’s cover image holds the poems beautifully.
