While Jeff Bezos held a lavish wedding in Venice, Amazon refused to send a high-level representative to testify in the European Parliament.

This is an insult to its workers and our democratic institutions.

We demand an end to Amazon's contracts with the European institutions.

"2021: hearing with workers, no amazon
2023: MEP mission to warehouses cancelled by the company
2024: another hearing without amazon
Today: the same thing
We need to go further and cancel all contracts the parliament has with the company"

EMPL hearing on working conditions in Amazon warehouses.
“We’re here on behalf of all working people, because Amazon sets global labour standards: driving inequality, environmental harm, and erosion of rights.”
Amazon didn’t show up.
Workers did. And always will. ✊
