I usually wait like 5 minutes of class in case anyone is running late. I think students think I'm being nice or something, but really, I just hate repeating myself 😆

Is having an attendance policy inherently ableist and potential classist depending on documentation requirement? (At the college level)
I teach at a historically and predominantly white university. I teach Expository Writing in themed courses. I get to decide and develop the theme and course content.
