The ice has melted at Tyhee Lake Provincial Park which means I can get the kayak out π£ββοΈ Got to see a Belted Kingfisher and Common Loon on the water too πͺΆπ¦ heard Sandhill Cranes too, but couldn't spot them π€·

I almost treat it like a bear, back up and put a lot of space between us. These Moose didn't seem to care I was there π€·

I've started taking walks during my lunch hour in Willowvale Marsh. I'm happy to see Red-winged Blackbirds and Song Sparrows have both returned to Smithers πͺΆπ¦
