I have experienced a lot of violence over the past couple of months. Honestly, the time span eludes me because I have been struggling with rage induced brain fog. I am just now ready to talk about it to people besides my innermost circle.

Sorry I have been so absent. As far as precipitation. We went from famine to feast! My water tank is full. I have about 50 gallons in other containers. I have been reveling in the desert returning to life. My garden has finally taken off, but our overnight lows are below 40. Not much is producing.

Popping in to say howdy to all y'all. It's been a hot, dry NONsoon season. Many fires have been starting from lightning. We had an arsonist just to add to the fun of it all. There was a small fire in the hood, but our local volunteer FD put it out quickly.

It's raining again! 🌧🥰 Even though it rained most of yesterday and some overnight, the dirt (clay) roads weren't that slippery when I went to take my trash. That's how dry it has been. I think we have gotten about 1/2" over the last week.

It's been raining for a couple of hours. My water tank has finally passed the 100gal mark for the first time in well over a year. Also, it's kind of chilly. I am going to make some soup to warm my cabin up. I am so happy.

Today was my first day back to being 100% self-employed. It has been the least Monday-like Monday in over 2 years. No teeth grinding. No misogyny. No bigotry. No gaslighting. No sitting around waiting to see if the boss is going to show up for a meeting. I actually took a dance break!

Well, we just had a little fire out here. It still isn't showing on Watch Duty. Navajo hot shots handled it. These firefighters are just badass. They fly all over to help with wildfires. I am in awe and have a bit of a crush on them.

A chipmunk just came to my door complaining about the water bowl. I told it that I just washed it and filled it with water that is free of PFAS, microplastics, viruses, and bacteria. Then I look at the water bowl. Many wasps. Nothing I can do about that. I told the chipmunk to wait their turn. 🤣

I am not that close to any of the fires in NM. On a sunny day, our skies are this magnificent blue free from that city haze. Right now, it looks more like Dallas or Albuquerque. There's this icky haze along the horizon. Winds are currently out of the WNW.

I have been dealing with a personal relationship issue. I know someone who has passed that was smuggled out of Nazi Germany. Her entire family was murdered in a concentration camp. I have some of her writings about those times.
I have known her son for about 30 years.
