Okay, so while job hunting and in interviews I rarely find it easy to dive into my favourite pieces or logic behind writing. So here's a quick thread on why this is one of my favourite pieces. 'Confession: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Made Me Agree With Sephiroth'

Confession: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Made Me Agree With Sephiroth - Power Up Gaming
*Spoilers* This writer explores human morality as he comes to terms with how Final Fantasy VII Rebirth made him agree with Sephiroth.

I quite often end up having written jokes that I'll never be able to use publicly. I wrote one such gag late last night and like, it's always very bittersweet.

Occasionally targeted ads rub me up the wrong way. I've had a holiday advert for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Now this is a place I have no intention of ever visiting, nor do I ever look it up.

...But it is where I was born, and spent the first seven months of life. I've never returned, don't intend to.

It happens with job hunting don't get me wrong, but it's always frustrating when you have a week where the confidence just can't seem to come together.

Don't get me wrong, I realise the fact I can do this and it be relaxing is a male privilege, but i love late night walks along the seafront to relax before bed.

This is bleak. I'd seen the show they were just at, Down The Hatch, a very cheap comedy night aimed at the LGBT and disabled communities - it has an agreement with my neurodivergent group for a table every time. It's a great, and really wholesome night: metro.co.uk/2025/10/06/r...

Just completely out of ideas with job hunting this week. It happens, ill get through it, but its frustrating nonetheless.

If I ever get as desperate for attention as the Beckhams are, then you have permission to shoot me.

They really need to have a mandatory 'reject all' function with cookies/interests on new websites. With job hunting I often end up chasing garden paths that accidentally lead to some weird sites, I generally just want to quickly peer onto a website, judge a job, then get out. Reject all would help

If I could change one thing about me, I would 100% make myself less productive while listening to real murder mysteries. Seriously, they have consistently made my job hunt so much more productive.

People say "autism never used to exist" and then you go to the Natural History Museum and the exhibit has a caption like "Born in 1762, The Revd [name] was famously irascible, steadfast in his routine, and dedicated his life to collecting 25,000 rare beetle specimens".
Fundamentally, the headbanging Right doesn't believe Autism (or ADHD) exists. Or in so far as it does exist, a human conspiracy has created it.

We're back to their core outlook that 'It didn't exist back in the good old days so can't exist now.'

'It must just be some modern woke Marxist nonsense'.

I'm sure Saudi Arabia had a tonne of Tylenol in 1994.

These idiots will stop at nothing to make Autism sound worse than measles and kill people to end the condition.

I'm not worse than measles. For f**ksake no human should have to write that.

Ah fuck. Hacks S3 E8, (I think, might be 7) has the most realistic depiction of improv comedy I've seen. I don't think I've ever cringed so much at such an honest and accurate depiction.

Okay so I've done a little light bit on the #EmmyAwards whereby I evaluate it while shamelessly admitting that I haven't seen like, half the shows.

Gut instinct after watching the first two episodes of #ThePaper?

It's good, but its a fine reminder of how much people overrate The Office.

The style is mimicked, its familiar, its fun. Its very the Office US, which was never hilarious. It was warm, endearing and silly with a bit of great drama.

"What?!"
"Er, this is awful."

Rant on autism (1/?).

One of the biggest things since my diagnosis at the end of March has just been accepting and listening to my body. I wanted to go out tonight, but yeah burnout has kicked in quite strongly and I've just got to listen. I also have to accept that I have to be careful with it.

Why are Labour so determined to alienate their own support with stuff like this? He incited violence, that's a crime. Enough said.

By suggesting this is 'culture war' stuff is in itself making it 'culture war' stuff. We shouldn't be excusing inciting violence, end of.

Kinda realise I'm at the point of job hunting whereby socially ill get so bored of writing my own voice that ill spend the next 50% of the message mocking myself.

*Sighs loudly*

Man needs to get hired.

Veronika Slowikowska had a very obviously stand out energy from her first scene in Tires. Don't get me wrong, only thing of hers I've seen, but felt like an obvious hire even then.

Very intrigued to see what this reworking of SNL will look like.

Also, not adding cast. PDD are leaving.
