Confidence comes after you make the decision, not before. Self-doubt isn’t a sign you’re wrong, it’s part of doing something new. The key isn’t waiting to feel ready. It’s taking steady action and proving to yourself you can do it. Confidence follows that. Not the other way around.

In winter, trees shed what they no longer need. It can look like loss, but it’s not. It’s preparation. A reset. This is what January should be. Ask yourself: What no longer fits in my life? What am I afraid to let go of? Real growth starts by clearing space, not chasing more.
January 6, 2026 at 1:30 PM
January doesn’t need to be a reinvention. It can be a reset. No pressure to be a new person. Just get honest about where you are and what you’re not taking with you this time. That’s a real reset. How are you approaching January?

Happy New Year, friends! 🎆

168 hours. That’s what we all get each week. Time isn’t the issue. Alignment is. Are your hours going toward the things that actually matter? Not just what’s urgent or expected. When your time matches your values, everything works better. Including you.

This holiday season, remember: finding joy and peace is more important than trying to meet (often unrealistic) expectations.

Close your eyes for a moment. Take a sip of your cappuccino/tea/hot chocolate, take a deep breath, and listen to your own heart.

You are enough.
December 24, 2025 at 4:53 PM
We wish everyone “happy holidays,” but are we actually having one? The holidays aren’t meant to drain you. If it feels heavy, pause. You can still show up, just with more intention. Rest, joy, and presence matter more than perfect plans. Take care of yourself. That’s the real gift.

You don’t have to make a dramatic change to make space for your own needs.

Here’s a gentle way to start:
→ Instead of “I’m fine,” try: “I’m a bit tired today.”

This isn't a complaint, it's a signal - a small, honest, human one. They remind you (and others) that you’re a person, not just a role.
December 18, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Busy doesn’t always mean progress. We confuse speed with clarity and exhaustion with effectiveness. Slowing down isn’t falling behind. It’s how you reconnect with what matters before burnout hits.

Step back. Even briefly. It helps more than you think.
December 16, 2025 at 1:30 PM
You don’t need to reinvent yourself. Just come back to yourself.

If “I’m fine” has been your answer for too long, start with small, steady steps. Not to perform, just to feel like you again.

Your needs matter, even if they've been quiet for a while.
December 11, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Before 2026 begins, take one quiet day. Not to plan, just to reflect.

What worked?
What didn’t?
What needs to change?

You don’t need a big goal. Just clarity.

Ask yourself: What can I let go of?

Make space now, so January doesn’t start in chaos.
December 9, 2025 at 1:30 PM
There’s a difference between surviving and actually being okay. “I’m fine” is often a shield, not the truth. Over time, it becomes a habit, and then an identity. If that sounds familiar, pause. Ask: “What do I really feel?” Write it down. That small moment of honesty is where things start to shift.
December 4, 2025 at 1:30 PM
We talk about success a lot. But some of the best milestones aren’t flashy. Saying “no” without guilt. A quiet “yes” from a client. A slow bike ride. Balance isn’t found, it’s built. If you're making space for truth or rest, you're doing the real work.

Last week I had the honor to speak at the Shift+Enter Summit in Budapest, Hungary. A city which I used to call home, where my children were born, which holds so many good memories as well as lots of pain and headache.

If you’re wired for high achievement, slowing down isn’t easy. Rest can feel wrong. But the pressure won’t stop on its own. Take 5 minutes. No phone. Just ask: “What’s most important right now?” You might be surprised by the answer.

I used to run to stay balanced. Now I walk in the forest with no music & no noise. At first, it’s uncomfortable. Then my mind clears. Sometimes the solution I needed shows up. Your breakthroughs might not happen at your desk. Make space, not as a luxury, but as a strategy.

Burnout is real, especially in tech. At Shift+Enter Summit, I’m not talking tools or trends. I’m talking burnout: why it shows up, how to spot it, and what to do before it takes over. Join us in Budapest on Nov 26. 🎟 Info → shiftenter.hu/

“Your presence isn’t passive, it’s powerful.”

That one line from my coaching assessment stuck with me. Coaching isn’t always big moments. Often, it’s a deep breath, a longer pause, a better question.

It's especially helpful for deep thinkers, leaders, and anyone under pressure.

me: “yes”

Tech says: move faster, learn faster, ship faster. But after 25+ years in IT, I know this: slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind, it means catching up with yourself.

Coaching isn’t one-size-fits-all. My focus is identity and clarity. According to a recent assessment, my coaching energy is “Mirror.” I help people hear their truth, see what’s really going on, and reflect on what matters. It’s not fast fixes. It’s deep work. And yes, that kind of progress counts.

Coaching isn’t about quick fixes. It’s space to reflect and reconnect. I recently took a coaching assessment that named my style as “Mirror” because clients feel safe, seen & unrushed. I listen, not rush to solve. For those in transition or burnout, clarity often comes from slowing down.

At 18 I left my village for Budapest.
At 20 I was embarrassed to learn English.
At 28 I cried alone after my first MVP award.

For years I tried to explain myself.

Now I know: You don’t need to be understood to be true.

"I'm fine." This common response is a core behavior we often use to mask our true feelings. At first, it’s a survival strategy. Eventually, it becomes a habit. And then, without noticing, it becomes your identity.
