Amazingly I don't think the overall performance was too bad but certain key moments definitely were. Must be massively frustrating for those who put in major shifts to see a teammate feel Semenyo wasn't worth marking. Or another passing directly to them to halt our counter and begin theirs. Ugh.

Pedro is such a liability these days. His crossing has fallen off a cliff but the brainfarts and general sloppiness have rocketed.

There was probably a combination of coaching defaults, lack of confidence and fatigue in how that second half went. Failure to rotate before injuries and suspensions took away that option. Overall another forgettable game that won't switch anyone from their pre-match in/out stance.

There is no personality, no risk, no visible style of play with this team. He's had months to work with these guys and we've got nothing.
I don't want to hear about fatigue. We play this way with a week's break or a day's rest. It's who we are, mate.

The league is low on quality matches these days but we're definitely part of that weight dragging it down rather than it pulling up.
