I am glad Pep has called out the ludicrous number of favourable decisions the home side have been given at Saudi James Park.

No one is surprised.
The Supreme Court sets aside lower court decisions upholding convictions for bribery related to the FIFA scandal because the Trump administration decided to dismiss those criminal cases "in the interests of justice." The FIFA prosecution ends in a whimper. www.supremecourt.gov/orders/court...

This Barça-Madrid game is outrageous.

And that absolutely extends to the hierarchy. There was a sense of self gratification when they mentioned how many people are currently working at the club across various departments. Yet the results and progression, and their vision of what progress entails, are wildly off track.

The Thomas Frank experiment has already reached it's conclusion. The only thing undecided – by the current masters of indecision – is whether that axe falls before the summer.

I'm not judging him as a human or dismissing what he did for Brentford. He just isn't the guy. Same as Nuno.

Things you didn't hear Neville say in the second half:

Saka fizzled out. Kerkez bossed him.

Arsenal offered nothing going forward, despite being at home against a side without a striker.

Miles Lewis-Skelly got dominated by a winger who doesn't even know how to cross.

Bottled it.

Generous VAR decisions going Arsenal's way again, I see.

Thomas Radazinski or something like that. Remember him more at Everton for some reason.

Neville shouting over Sturridge whenever he tries to get more than five words out.

Still think, aside from new signings (bar Ekitike) not being up to the standard of those they replaced, the main factor behind Liverpool's fall off is tragically losing a teammate on the eve of the season.

Amazingly I don't think the overall performance was too bad but certain key moments definitely were. Must be massively frustrating for those who put in major shifts to see a teammate feel Semenyo wasn't worth marking. Or another passing directly to them to halt our counter and begin theirs. Ugh.

Pedro is such a liability these days. His crossing has fallen off a cliff but the brainfarts and general sloppiness have rocketed.

Learn from Richy, Cody: Never take your shirt off after scoring a stoppage time goal.

Stunning effort by Reed though.

There was probably a combination of coaching defaults, lack of confidence and fatigue in how that second half went. Failure to rotate before injuries and suspensions took away that option. Overall another forgettable game that won't switch anyone from their pre-match in/out stance.

I did not like the second half at all.
