AFT Maryland folks had a great time "trunk-or-treating" last weekend in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of Baltimore. We had treats and free books for the kids, and voter registration information for the grown ups. It's an annual tradition! More at md.aft.org

Last month, @aft.org updated its lawsuit from March over massive processing delays for income-driven repayment plans. IDR plans offer borrowers affordable monthly payments based on income, with the possibility of student loan forgiveness after 20 or 25 years in repayment.
