Funny enough, I feel like this in academia too.
Every Monday I wake up, fully cognizant of the fact that the President took a perfectly healthy economy back behind the shed and shot it, and then I go about my job for the week like that didn’t happen because I have no control over it. It makes me feel ridiculous.

As much as this sounds like a great idea, it’s a bit naive.
He killed 18F because he plans to insert doge in there with a consulting contract. Better yet, they’ll make it where no one but them can modify the stuff they installed.

It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.
They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.

Why aren’t crimes such as credit card theft, insider trading, identity theft, scamming someone out of their savings, etc also considered crime? Why is it only stuff like robberies, etc? Yes, the latter ones aren’t victimless, but neither are the former. Our conversation about crime is BS.

Why aren’t crimes such as credit card theft, insider trading, identity theft, scamming someone out of their savings, etc also considered crime? Why is it only stuff like robberies, etc? Yes, the latter ones aren’t victimless, but neither are the former. Our conversation about crime is BS.

Updated numbers: if just 121,342 voters in MI, PA, & WI had changed their votes, Kamala Harris would be President-elect right now. An amazing accomplishment for a candidate who ran for 107 days against a candidate beloved by half the country who's been running constantly for president for 9 years.

To me, this is the clearest sign that her being a woman was the main issue. It’s always been the issue. It was the real reason people were “concerned” about Biden’s age.
3. It's not so much that Dems were voting for Dem Senate candidates but not voting for POTUS...it was that TRUMP voters were voting ONLY for him while leaving the Senate blank (or actively voting for Gallego in AZ).
Across the 5 states, 536K Trump voters didn't vote for the GOP Senate candidate.
