So I’m curious if anybody else has both seen Wicked (the new one) and read Babel by R. F. Kuang? I noticed some similarities in the ways the depictions of which oppressive systems that function off of manipulating cultural norms and illusions of power over speech. Am I crazy or am I onto something?

Am i the only one who feels that Arcane Act two was REALLY fan-servicey? Like it was a LOT of character interactions that felt like they were meant to make the audience go “aww look I’m enjoying myself watching this it’s so cute” with no real buildup to a lot of it, especially with name starts w a W
