I love having connections in my local music scene. I casually know the former tour manager of one of my favorite bands. The booking agency who organizes half the punk shows in this city? Yeah, the guy running it lets us in early sometimes. Half the artists I listen to follow me back. Shit rules.

I have a friend who recently moved from Florida to a blue state. When I asked, her first complaint was how COMPLACENT people were, especially in the LGBTQ+ community. About how she misses the leftist community we have here.
