I've started a three-part series of articles as preparation for an upcoming podcast series on how captured economics stole our climate - and what we can do about it.

Comments welcome.

Let’s be clear: in 1968 when then Ltc. Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor, racism and discrimination in the U.S. military was still rampant, and the fact that he was awarded such an honor is not only a miracle, but shows he probably went way above what was even required. This is how we repay him?

Wow, you mean your strategy of following 18 people here and showing up once every three weeks to complain about how quiet it is hasn't paid off? Surprising!

Friendly reminder: if you are waiting on something from a US-based scientist/reviewer/editor, please realize that we're barely making it through each day putting out non-stop fires and trying not to collapse into tears. We're trying our best, but things will take longer right now. Give grace.

Youve never heard of @team18f.bsky.social but if you’ve ever used a govt website, you have them to thank for it running smoothly.

And they were all just fired.

I have a feeling this is not something that R voters and constituents can twist, so I recommend sharing their story far and wide!

TLDR: A new and IMPORTANT study finds that GPA cutoffs for high paying majors (like engineering and business) not only fail to improve student outcomes, but have also disproportionately driven minorities away from high-paying fields since the 1990s.

Stripe’s Agent Toolkit brings payments to AI workflows! Looks interesting to me. Anyone tried the preview? #agents #agenticworkflows
We've just released the Stripe Agent Toolkit that integrates Stripe APIs in popular agent frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, and Vercel's AI SDK.

It's currently in Developer Preview, and we'd love your feedback 🙂
