Let's see how well my solution scales in the end. #joustmania with roughly 30 controllers, goal is still 42, but who owns or needs that many ps move controllers

What started as “let’s add some OpenTelemetry to a Python game” for my talk…
…turned into a microservice refactor, clear service boundaries, and CI/CD everywhere.

AI-assisted dev speed was wild. Dashboards, traces & metrics weren’t just visibility - they fueled the refactoring. Massive learnings 🤯

I never followed up on the progress, so here are the pictures after each evening. It is a success and fun to build ;)

So the night train adventure starts...

Sidenote: that's what you get for traveling by night train to most conferences -> kids who also want to ride the night train. To be honest I am really looking forward to this adventure with the kids.

Some tools force you to learn a complicated API and require constant maintenance.

Other tools... just work, and that's why it's easy to overlook them.

@openfeature.dev is one of those tools.

Do I use it daily? Yes.
Do I ever have to think about it? No.

That was the whole trip from the karnischen Höhenweg we did.

We had to skip the last down climb. My knee did not want to do that anymore.

Time to recharge... Or something like that. My body does not feel recharged ;)
