Zhyk's tail is maxed out on the slider, but I headcanon it to be longer and a bit fluffier even.
In canon, his tail is really long and scruffy looking, but with proper care is very soft and gorgeous!

He doesn't wiggle (though his tail will move in either short, sharp snaps or a very languid, full arc), but he does crouch low during specific hunting moments. His whole body coils with energy, even moreso now that he's more adept with aether, prepping to launch toward his prey.
I have a very serious, not all joking #WoLQotD inspired by a conversation with a friend.

Zhyk's last name was given to him by his mother, different from his clan, a memory of the father he had never met. It means "traveler under the stars."
(I don't really have lore for his first name so far, other than it's different than his mother's which is a big deal in Keeper lore.)

Whenever I write a cat adjacent character, they're always the sort that don't like being called "kitty-cat" or similar. Only very specific rapport would allow it.
"Kitty" and such would only be met with annoyance, irritation, or scorn. It's fun from antagonists though!

Canonically, Vachir (Au Ra, left) is sought after for his good looks & gentlemanly disposition! I created him specifically to be very attractive, tbh.
Zhyk (Miqo'te, right) cleans up very handsomely, but his personality is much more guarded which tends to be detrimental to flirting 😂

I honestly think I'm good at conveying emotion in my work, whether it be through dialogue or introspection or even altering the format of a document.

I honestly think I'm good at conveying emotion in my work, whether it be through dialogue or introspection or even altering the format of a document.
It might be in simple terminology, nothing college level or overly pretentious, but I think that makes it connect to a lot of people easier.
