Incredible but not surprising that this article doesn’t even suggest taking public transport as an option to do your shopping instead of fighting for a car park….

A tax system that incentivises people buying big utes for "work" is terrible for the environment.
Emissions from passenger cars have fallen since 2005.
But that has been more than cancelled out by the increase in emissions from utes and other light commercial vehicles.

A gentle reminder that if we miss the 1.5°C target (and we certainly will), the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting.
