My coloring technique might be strange, maybe not the most efficient, but I just have to accept that it's mine, the one that works for me and that I'm comfortable with. Looking at other people's methods is fine, but that's their method, their process. I have to trust MY process.

Actually, it doesn't seem like it (cause I often get compliments on my colors), but coloring is really somethin' I don't like. Or rather, my brain is incapable of visualizing the final stage, despite all my efforts. I often end up playing the sorcerer's apprentice, really.

A real question: for you, is working with color a prerequisite for being considered an illustrator, or not at all? And more importantly, for selling illustrations?
