literally one of the most important tenets of audio mastering for general audiences is to make sure it’s going to sound good on as many varied and likely mediocre devices as possible. fascinating to compare these two forms of media in that regard, imo
Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.

Finally getting back to playing Trails Through Daybreak
I remember I had to set it down last year at the start of chapter 4 due to my work schedule being insane
But getting back into it from the point I left off felt pretty brutal
I'm glad I restored momentum tho
