Its one if the worst developments the transport of LNG has ten times more emmisions than pipeline gas.

The sad saga of the Hen Harrier continues. A red listed bird is persecuted so that people can shoot grouse for fun and DEFRA continue to be impotent when it comes to dealing with this wildlfe crime.
There are at least 14 other cases that I know of, still to be publicised.
The wilful blindness of Defra Ministers allows this criminality to continue. They're not even embarrassed.

When four breeding male Hen Harriers suspiciously disappeared from nests in May, two from RSPB Geltsdale and two from the Forest of Bowland, it was clear the females would struggle to raise their chicks alone.

From yesterday, from my wild garden, a few snippets. This weeks rain has refreshed the area some of the Trefoil is blooming again. Common Blue Butterfly, bees on Knapweed and the lovely lacy flower of Wild Carrot.

I think most people would prefer water companies to be renationalised again. They have shown themsleves to be greedy awarding themsleves with fat bonuses while taking many shortcuts. This Labour government is not brave enough to take on corporate greed or tackle bad governance & management.
It's performative. If Steve Reed were really "furious" about water bills, he wouldn't have ruled out renationalisation, or forbidden the Independent Water Commission to recommend it. He enables the filthiest, most parasitic capital to defeat the public interest.

Incredibly important point.
It is also reprehensible for the manner in which it has diluted the seriousness of terrorism, as a concept and a legal designation. If you want to pursue Palestine Action for criminal damage then go right ahead. But they are not terrorists under any normal definition of the word.
