I wrote about In Time, a revealing new film about Dónal Lunny and his music, for the Journal of Music. Not sure if it will be broadcast or made available more widely. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0n_...

Thought I would note this new review of Into the Loam. Well worth acquiring (the CD that is), and if it's still available the design of the CD booklet is striking. As is much of the music.

Enjoyed listening to the new album by Ciarán Ó Maonaigh and writing about it. Realised also that I'd not been listening to much Donegal music lately and great to recover some of these tunes.

A review of the recent book on the late Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin for The Journal of Music. A huge influence and inspiration at various points during my musical life. A huge book for a huge figure and a challenge to write about!
