Todays progress. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get some of the collisions sorted on a few of the tiles. The good news is that colliding while going downwards is working great now. Started working on resolving collisions with the ceiling! Then I can do the walls axis lol.

Updated the character sprites for this project a few years ago. Tried to hit a sweet-spot between the PSX and SNES look using more of the latter's palette restrictions. X is fully animated and works in some test levels. Maybe I'll demonstrate that some day.
