I wanted to get pens like the ones i used in yesterday's sketch, but my closest grocery store didn't have them. So bought some gel pens instead and made this sketch. Like it overall, but I coulda done better on the clothing, and I don't think she's holding the skull naturally.

You know what? I wanna do another set of comics for "The Houses of Winter Waits Road." I liked making them and I think they have some potential.

Short compilation of some of my favorite one page comics i made over the past few months. I Also did some more work on the first one, "Formation of the Wizard's Eye," I didn't like how it looked originally; felt it looked too empty.

Rough drafts of 3 pages from chapter 1. The final page falls apart, I feel. I need to practice buildings in this style more and put more background characters in; Town should feel busier and more populated than this. 1st and 2nd page is about where I want them.

"Sister of Nature"
wanted to do a one-page comic, but it wound up just being 2. While I do like it, the final piece looks odd to me. Idk, the end result makes the panels feel redundant. Like I shouldn't have bothered with them and just made it a full page.

The Freeze wasn't so bad for me. Never lost power and the roads didn't ice too severely. Worse for other places, and I hope they recover quickly. The colds not letting up anytime soon.

Some sketches for Fetcher chptr 1. Top panel page 2 wanted to do hatching effect for the sky to put focus on the rest of the panel and cause I think it's a cool effect. didn't work gotta try something else. Discontinuity between bottom panel page 1 and panels on page 2. Improvements for final.

Planning out the first town the party goes to in the campaign. It's a small old village, a quiet stopping point before the big city in the region. I like the layout, but not this sketch much. Try it a few more times, add a couple more buildings, refine the ascetic a bit.

So I did another pivot in making my dnd camp. Not a full scrap-n-start-over thankfully. Same world, same premise, just shifting focus to another part of the continent. Realized I was doing the halfway/reveal dungeon first, and that simply wouldn't do. So we're moving north and starting off simpler.

After an hour long walk, I kicked the funk i was in and got some rough sketches for episode 1 of Fetcher done up. Despite having an outline for it I didn't really know how to connect the dots, one of the things dragging me down earlier, but I think it's taking shape better now.
