Win for the day: Managed to bring back a Yokogawa CV1000 back to life, after it lost the computer. The most memorable part of this work for me was tracking down the Graphin frame grabber device driver; I contacted its Japanese manufacturer in Japanese.

#PMTs used in Super #Kamiokande and Hyper Kamiokande, displayed at #Gifu #Kakamugahara Air and Space #Museum. They are huge (20 inches). Wondered what S/N we would get if these are used in #confocal #microscopes.
