Visibility on Te Ahumairangi was pretty poor and Hauraro was whipping the blossoms off the trees this weekend so I picked all my remaining tulips and brought them inside to brighten up the day.🌱🇳🇿 #AotearoaGardens

Turns out you can do a mix of Seville and Navel oranges in a Seville orange marmalade. I only had to add 3 to make up the weight too.

An appreciation post for this tiny feijoa tree that the lovely #WellingtonCityCouncil gardeners planted in Ghuznee St just 1 year ago. Two thumbs high but sporting 3 fruits this year. Thanks so much for replanting the fruit trees WCC - urban fruit is the best! @rebeccamatthews.bsky.social

It’s been a bit of a week. The Shingrex vax is a good one but I had quite a bold reaction to it. Maybe it’s from having shingles in the past? Anyway today I picked myself some Autumn flowers and had an afternoon kip. Hope you all did something nice for yourselves too? 🌱🇳🇿 #Aotearoagardens
