This stained glass window is one of the few features left on the former Dunedin RSA building at the corner of Burlington Street & Moray Place. It was more than just a RSA it was a war memorial gifted by the citizens of Dunedin to the living in memory of the dead.

107 years ago today my great-great-great uncle Ewing Riddle was killed in action during the liberation of Le Quesnoy on 4 November 1918 and buried at Le Quesnoy Communal Cemetery Extension. One of four Riddle sons who served and two killed during the war.
We will remember them.

107 years ago today my great-great-great uncle Ewing Riddle was killed in action during the liberation of Le Quesnoy on 4 November 1918 and buried at Le Quesnoy Communal Cemetery Extension. One of four Riddle sons who served and two killed during the war.
We will remember them.
